We all have different backgrounds, hobbies and likes, yet we embrace our Saviour wholeheartedly, resting in His promise to work in us and conform us to the image of His Son. It is in Jesus Christ we find our identity, worth, and purpose.

Kehinde Omotayo

Elder

Kehinde is the elder responsible for preaching and teaching at HERC. He has held the position since 2016, having been a member of the church since 2011. Kehinde was born in London but spent his formative years in Lagos, Nigeria. He returned to London as a 13-year-old with his family. He is the last of five children. In the year 2005, he came to know the Lord. After becoming a member at HERC, he was enrolled in London Seminary as his preaching and leadership gifts became apparent to the church. Today, Kehinde is a full-time elder at HERC where his passion for the gospel, teaching the word of God and counselling God’s people are on full display. Kehinde is married to Nicole, and they have been blessed with a handsome son and beautiful girl-boy twins. To get in touch with Kehinde, please email him at kehinde@erc-hackney.com

Andrew Howes

Andrew Howes

Elder

Andrew, the oldest of 3 children, has attended from his very earliest years – born into a Christian and Church family. He first professed faith in 1983, and has witnessed the blessings of the Lord in the life of the church as it passed through both times of trouble and of joy, and God’s sustaining power. In 2006, he married his darling wife Lorraine, and they were gifted a daughter Chloe, five years later. He was blessed with wonderful parents, and profoundly misses his father and confidante who served as an Elder until his death in December 2016. He has served as a deacon and now as an elder. His desire is to serve His Lord and His people humbly and to the best of his ability. An avid sports fan, he has long ago hung up his boots (football and rugby), his rackets (tennis) and shoulder pads (American Football) but has dreams of making a comeback! To get in touch with Andrew, please email him at andrew@erc-hackney.com.
